Kill It

Tonight we talked about sin. The kind we excuse. The kind we compare. The kind we say “it’s not that bad” about.

But Scripture is clear:

If you don’t kill sin, it will kill you.

Romans 8:13

Colossians 3:5

John 10:10

Sin never stays small.

It always wants more.

More time.

More space.

More control.

And what we tolerate today will torment us tomorrow.

But hear this…

God isn’t asking you to lay it down because He’s angry.

He’s asking because He loves you.

Grace doesn’t excuse sin.

Grace empowers obedience.
