7th Grade - 12th grade
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory."
Isaiah 61:1-3
CPC Youth is a place where students can belong, be real, grow in their faith, and learn what it means to follow Jesus for themselves. This is more than a Wednesday night service, it’s a community. A place to celebrate wins, walk through struggles, ask honest questions, build meaningful friendships, and discover how God's Word applies to everyday life. Every Wednesday night, students gather for worship, biblical teaching and sermons, prayer, relationships, and plenty of fun along the way. Led by Youth Pastors Caleb and Deevala Miles, the heart is to create a safe place where students are known, loved, challenged, and continually pointed to Jesus.
Services right now are held in the main sanctuary. Once the Youth Center(closest to the football field) is complete, we will meet in there and have services there. Doors open at 6:30 PM and service is from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
OUR VISION FOR 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR: FOLLOW
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Luke 9:23
Jesus didn't simply invite people to believe something, He invited them to follow Him.
Throughout the year, we will challenge the students to discover what it really means to FOLLOW Jesus and develop a faith that becomes their own.
Together, we'll explore five big questions throughout the year:
Who is Jesus?
Who am I because of Jesus?
How do I follow Him?
How do I become more like Him?
How do I help others follow Him?
Our goal isn't simply to fill a room on Wednesday nights. We want to raise lifelong disciples who know Jesus deeply, love people genuinely, and make disciples wherever God sends them.
GATHER. GROW. SERVE. SHARE.
We want students to learn to GATHER in biblical community, GROW in a personal relationship with Jesus, SERVE God and others with their gifts, and SHARE the hope of Jesus with the people around them.
And as Isaiah 61:1–3 reminds us, we believe God can use this generation to bring good news, comfort the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom, and carry the hope of Jesus into their schools, homes, teams, friendships, and communities.
Come as you are.
You belong here.
Come follow Jesus with us.
STAY CONNECTED
Students can download the CPC App and request to join the CPC Youth Group Chat to stay connected throughout the week.
Parents and families can follow CPC Youth on Facebook and Instagram for announcements, events, updates, and a look at what we're learning throughout the year.
We follow the Ava R-I School District Calendar + Snow closings and dismissals. We have a *No School, No Youth* Policy during the school year. We do meet during the Summers!
